I am a student at the Medical faculty of Riga Stradina University and has been so for the last 5 years. During this time I had some classes in latvian during the first years and is often meeting with patient to talk about their problems. At current level I am getting by but the problem is that I still feel that I need to develop my conversation skills an especially my listening comprehension .
I am therefore not interested in speaking using prefect grammar, but rather making myself understood.
I would like one class a week to start with and go from there. I have my medical studies so I cannot spend to much time on my lativan but I would altough like someone who pushes me a bit.
My latvian teacher should be well understood with my goal to be able to speak with patient in a doctor patient realtionship. I believe that roleplaying would be a good way of acheving this.
