I WORK IN SRI LANKA EVERY 12 WEEKS WITH MY JOB,FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. I PICK UP LITTLE WORDS BUT WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE, ALSO I HAVE FRIENDS WHO HELP ME WITH MY SINHALESE WHEN I AM THERE. I MAY EVEN CONSIDER ONE DAY LIVING THERE.
I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE IN THE AREA OF CONVERSATION.
I WOULD DO A FEW HOURS EACH WEEK.
I NEED A TEACHER WHO IS PATIENT AS I KNOW IT IS A DIFFICULT LANGUAGE TO LEARN. I TEND TO WRITE DOWN THE CORRECT SPELLING OF WORD THEN WRITE IT HOW I WOULD SAY IT. I FIND THIS HELP ME.

Hi,My name is Hanna i'm 14 years old.
I am a beginner in speaking spansih i havnt been tought any of the language apart from odd bits of it. The reason i would like to learn spanish is because i have Puerto Rican blood in me and would like to speak their native language.
I would dedicate 3 times a week to learn the language.
Th e qualities i'm looking for in a teacher is they are spanish or well spoken in the language for them to be friendly and chatty so i can gain a friendly workin area as thats is when i work best.

Jam bo! Habari?
I hope you can help me to learn Kiswahili at a basic level. I am an English woman in her 30s who has a great interest in East Africa.
My husband grew up in Kenya and I visited there for the first time on our honeymoon this year (Mombasa, Diani, Elementaita, Gilgil, Nairobi). I fell in love with the country and we are going back there on holiday next March (walking up Mount Kenya then relaxing at Diani).
In the long term my plan would be to live in Kenya. To do this I must have some language skills. At present I know a very few words.
I learn best face to face in small (2 - 8 people) groups, or 1 to 1.
I am a full time student at Norwich City College, studying hospitality management. At present I am on full time work placement in Sheringham which means I am free on Monday and Tuesday only. By October my diary will be more flexible. I would like to start lessons as soon as possible. Currently, I could dedicate 2 - 3 hours a week to learning Kiswahili.
I have my own car so I can travel to lessons if necessary.
I am looking for someone who I can learn from in Norfolk, who is patient, who has a sense of humour, who is preferably (but not exclusively) Kenyan and who would be able to teach me about their culture as well as their language.

I am learning Bulgarian with the aid of books and tapes but would really appreciate some conversationa l practice with a fluent speaker of Bulgarian. If there is a Bulgarian out there who is learning English and would like help and support, I am happy to make our language learning a reciprocal arrangement (as against student-teach er).
Althou gh I need conversationa l practice I would also be delighted to have my written language corrected and criticised so this cry for help may well appeal to someone whose English is no more advanced than my Bulgarian.
