Hi,
I am a native Azari Turkish Speaker. I will be going to Turkey on a business assignment at the end of June and I would like to learn Turkish Istanbul.
I was born and raised in Tabriz/Azerba ijan/Iran and a fluent Azeri speaker. Azeri Turkish is very similar to Turkish but I need to brush it up to be able to communicate with people when I am there. I have only a few weeks to practice so I was wondering if you are able to help me with this training.

I visit Cappadocia every year where I work with a seramik artist. I am a beginning speaker, but i do know some vocabulary and grammar. I need lessons in conversationa l Turkish so I can speak with the people I know.
I am interested in perhaps one class each week of 2 hours. I will be travelling to Turkey in August, 2010, and would like to be able to speak a little by then. I could do more classes each week, or perhaps a longer session on one day.
I actually live in Gibsons, just a short way outside of Vancouver. But I do not know any Turkish language teachers here on the Sunshine Coast.
I would like to know what the cost would be for the lessons.
I am looking for a kind and understanding teacher. I learn languages fairly quickly. I want the sessions to be primarily in Turkish so I am forced to speak Turkish.

I am learning turkish because my fiancee is turkish and I want to be able to speak to his family as well as our potential children.
I am a beginner. I want to dedicate maybe two hours a week.
The area I need most help is on the structure of the language. I do speak a bit of portuguese, do I know what I need to learn about a language in order to speak it. My fiancee is finding it difficult to teach me because I need to know why certain things are said a certain way.
I need my teacher to be patient and flexible with time of classes.
