I am looking for some language teachers for a one off Languages Day for Gifted and Taleented Students in December 2009. We are a high school and expect to run a successful day with highly qualified staff. Previous experince with able teenagers is important and staff on the day should be able to provide all their own resources and activities. Active learning is important and exciting and innovating teacehr methods required.

I am hoping to access private greek lessons in the city of Cambridge. I have been a regular visitor to greece for the last eighteen years and feel that I would love to be able to communicate with local people in their own language. Greece is somewhere I may like to eventually live as well. I would like to dedicate about two-four hours per week to my lessons and would like to focus upon conversationa l greek and everyday phrases. I would also find it helpful to gain a basis understanding of written greek. I would probably find it helpful to have a greek teacher who can speak english well, and someone who is friendly and patient.

I tried to learn greek about 8 yrs ago. Since then i have had little experience in greek language, although i have not forgotten a few of the basics.Prefer ably a tutor would teach/remind me of basic sentences and help me at least construct a greek sentence and not construct a greek villa or hotel by mistake!
