I speak no Hungarian at all.
I want to learn because a)the language and the country appeal to me and b) it represents a considerable challenge.
I intend to learn to read, write and speak the language.
I need one lesson per week (with a lot of homework in between lessons)
I would like a teacher who shares with me a lively interest in language generally.
Though I live in East Grinstead I am happy to travel to London for my lessons.

I have been learning Hungarian for about 6 years on and off and I'm able to speak fairly well - I suppose I am at intermediate- upper intermediate level. I am looking for a teacher who can really help me in speaking, listening and writing - but in particular with grammar.
I have friends in Budapest and I visit fairly regularly but I'd like to use the language more regularly and with less mistakes! In summer 2007 I did a 3 week intensive course in Budapest which was really helpful - I was in the Advanced level class which was quite challenging but I improved a great deal.
I'm looking for a teacher with experience in teaching Hungarian at Intermediate- Advanced level. I would prefer the teacher to only speak in Hungarian and avoid speaking English unless absolutely necessary. If possible I would need to have my lessons near to where I live or work in London. Although I would like to have regular lessons at a fixed time, due to demands of my work, some flexibility would be needed.
