I wish to learn Albanian in order for me to speak and understand it when I am speaking to my in-laws who live in Albania. I can understand some Albanian and speak only a few words in Albanian but I get so fustraited as I want to speak and understand it more fluently. My husband who is Albanian has tried to teach me some words in Albanian but I wish to speak it more fluently and understand what others are trying to tell me in order for me to answer them back in a full sentance and be able to make a full conversation with them. Writting Albanian is something that I would also like to learn but my main concern is being able to speak it first before mastering how to write it. I am looking for a tutor who can provide me with private tuition on a one to one basis 1 hour a week at a reasonable/lo w cost as I work full time 5 days a week. I would like them to teach me what they know in the best way possible in order for me to speak it well to my in-laws.

I would say that I'm a beginner and have picked up a few words on my numerous visits to Albania. My husband is Albanian and i want to be proficient at a conversationa l level and am not too concerned with the written aspect of the language. I am looking for someone who is quite local and flexible, offers classes at a reasonable price and can work to create a learning plan for my needs.

I understand very basic Albanian, common sayings etc., I am unable to write Albanian can read certain words but not many. My husband is Albanian but has not the time to teach me and our children. I would love to be able to hold a conversation with my parent-in-law s and other family/friend s in Albania.
My sister-in-law is also interested in Albanian lessons but holds much more understanding than I. It is important that my husband can meet the tutor if they were to hold in-person sessions. I am aware that lessons are available in my husbands home town, but I would like to be prepared before our next trip.
