I have many Persian friends and would like to converse with them in their own language and would also like to learn the written Persian language.
I am at beginner level, only know a few conversationa l words. I need improvement in all areas. As I work Monday - Thursday, my once weekly lesson would have to be Friday or Saturday, one to 2 hours per week as the teacher would deem necessary.
The qualities I am seeking would be good teaching skills, patience and well thought out lessons.
As I am quite a busy person I am as yet unsure whether I can manage an extra commitment to my week, but I would like to try it out!

I am a Uni student in Sydney, and I am looking for a female teacher in Sydney who can teach me Farsi.I come from a Persian background on one side, however I never learnt Farsi, but I understand only a few words here and there.It is deeply important to me that I will be able to speak the language of my mother one day.I would like to learn to converse in Farsi well.
I would like to learn in person, possibly on Saturday morning, or something can be arranged during the week, that is ok with me.

I have always had an interest in Persian and Iranian history, and would like to further that interest by learning to speak Farsi. I also believe that considering most Australians do not understand Farsi my future career would benefit from learning to speak the Farsi language.
I am unfamiliar with Farsi, and so would be a beginner, but I am a fast learner, and would work hard to learn.
I can dedicate evenings for classes in Farsi but would welcome opportunities to engage with the Iranian community in Melbourne to further my knowledge of the language.

I am seeking to refine my Dari skills, as a means of gaining confidence and proficiency in speech and and writing. The language skills I hope to attain will also add invaluable weight to my career development as I intend to work in my country or origin (Afghanistan) . I have never learnt Dari through books or a teacher, It has been a oral transmission from my parents and family to myself. One a scale of 1 to 10,I would be sitting on a 3. I cannot read well nor can I write. I am quite dedicated and am looking to give it 4 to 5 hours a week. The qualities I seek in a teacher are characterised by punctuality, dedication, understanding and patient.

My wife, Samaneh, is Iranian. I would like to learn Persian to communicate effectively with my in-laws and during my trips to Iran. I am a complete beginner, although I have learned the perso/arabic script.
I am interested in achieving complete fluency (reading, listening speaking and writing) and I can allocate 3hours/week in 1hour sessions.
