I studied Spanish for several years but never got the chance to travel to a Spanish-speak ing country and practice speaking the language. I am planning to go on a ten day trip to Ecuador in July, but my Spanish is so rusty that I am really worried that I won't be able to manage! I need help in basic conversation skills to help me get by in Ecuador. Right now, I am at a beginner's level, but will be able to relearn very quickly with practice! I have a lot of free time to dedicate to these lessons between now & July 9th when I leave for Ecuador. So, maybe 2 or 3 times a week would be helpful, depending on cost.

I am looking for a spanish tutor for my son who will be sitting CXC Spanish in June 2008. He is about to enter Grade 10 and although he has a reasonable understanding of the grammar, etc., he needs more practice with speaking and listening skills.
I am thinking that 2 hours per week should be sufficient to supplement his school curriculum.
The ideal tutor should be able to relate to a 14 year old, capture & maintain his interest in the subject.
