I am very determined to learn the formal/standa rd Arabic language (fus'ha) in order to engage in professional conversations and most importantly understand the Quran in its original language. My level of Arabic is rather low (beginner), so I am in need of improvement in all aspects.
As I have lots of free time, I would like to dedicate as much as I can to keep progressing. The qualities I would want in my teacher would be one who is capable of teaching the language desired in a way that is simple yet effective and memorable, and has good experience overall.

- Moving to Dubai in summer 2012 and desire to take advantage of living in an Arabic country and become fluent in Arabic conversation and social/busine ss knowledge
- Have started to self-teach myself Arabic at a basic level before moving to Dubai, hope to improve to good beginners or maybe even intermediate level by summer
- Emphasis should be on conversation, but would like to improve also reading skills
