I am interested in learning Portuguese, because as a child I use to speak the language. My grandfather is from Portugal and he spoke Portuguese to us. I speak very little, I want to grammatically learn the language, and converse properly. I wish to also visit Portugal with in the next 3-5 years...
I can only dedicate about 2-3 hours a week for the time being, due to work. But in the near future (maybe by winter time - hopefully!) I would like to invest 4.5 - 5 hours a week.
Definite quality from my teacher is patience, creativity in teaching, and some humor.

I'm looking for a teachers who can teach me Sign Language, Italian, Portuguese,an d Greek, for a career advances, and as well that I want travel to these countries and be able to speak the language there. I'm currently a beginner. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to my lessons, to be able to learn, and understand the language fluently. I want to learn how to write it, how to speak it, the proper grammar, and as well how to live it. I'm looking for a teacher is willing to teach me, and willing to show me that the language is big in our world, lessons that I can really learn from, and remember the proper use in writing it, and speaking it.

Hi there! My name is Stephanie and I am looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese. I am married to a Brazilian and it is about time I learn the language—espe cially since we are expecting our first child in January and we want him or her to be bilingual. I am definitely a beginner, but have acquired some understanding of the language over the last 8+ years. However, I am very shy with speaking any Portuguese.
I would love help with grammar, pronunciation , and conversation. I am very committed to learning the language at this point and would be willing to spend ample time studying. I use Rosetta Stone and a few books I bought, but really would like in-person lessons with lots of structure. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and funny and willing to make this process both rewarding and enjoyable.
