i want to learn Vietnamese for personal reason, my level is that of a child at best. I want to learn and cover all bases of the language. I would like to discuss further about how much time and money the course will be but I plan to devote a lot of time to this. The qualities most important to me in a teacher would be someone who can effectively teach Vietnamese, force me to speak it, i.e. not socially converse in English, some one who can clearly explain grammar to me, not point at a picture, say a word and ask me to repeat. Patience is a must but also someone who is thorough, relentless and has a proven record of success with their students.

I would like to learn Bengali because it is my husbands native language and I would like to communicate with his family their language. My focus would be on spoken Bengali, not on written Bengali. I would start on a beginner level and would dedicate 1-2 hours up to 3 times a week during the day for the language lessons. My teacher should be a native speaker with experience in teaching Bengali.

I want to learn hindi because my family is Indian and everyone who spoke hindi are dead. The only person who knows some hindi is my father and it's not enough to have a conversation. I want to embrace my indian side, while also having an advantage of knowing another language when I do go out into the work force. I am at a beginner level. I would like dedicate atleast an hour to my language lessons. I am not looking for a type of quality in my teacher or lessons. All that I ask is that the teacher is patient with me.
