I am a beginner level student. I am interested in learning because of both my long time admiration of the japanese culture, country, and people as well as I am planning to visit Japan in the coming months and would like to go with some basic knowledge of the language so that I might completely emerse myself in the country.

I am an absolute beginner. I've learned other languages, Spanish, German, Czech, and a little Arabic. I'm looking for about 2 hours a week. I want to speak to farmers in Kandahar and Herat. My focus will be basic sentence structure, focused volcabulary on agri-business and family/tribal matters. I don't need to read or write.

I have traveled in Russian-speak ing countries Latvia, Belarus, and Ukraine and have only basic knowledge of the language. I have a girlfriend in Ukraine who wants me to move there and I need to learn conversationa l Russian before I can do this. I am very passionate and in dire need to learn as fast as possible.
