I have just recently began learning Mandarin Chinese. I only know how to say a few phrases, count to 10, and have went over the different dialects. I have a passion as well as a strategic business purpose to learn Chinese. Later on in my career I may need to utilize Chinese in the day to day workplace and would like to begin learning now. I am available most evenings after 6pm and am willing to dedicate an 4-6 hours each week. I basically want to learn the language that is most used in business transactions and meetings.

I studied Spanish during my undergraduate studies and studied abroad to the Dominican Republic. That said, my proficiency level is at a working level, but since I graduated, I rarely use it. This is my reasoning for wanting to have an instructor. I think that I could use improvement in all areas, but particularly in conversation, as sometimes people that are natives of a spanish speaking country speak to fact. I want to dedicate several times a week to the course and would like a teacher who is qualified to instruct at a high level, with a relaxed environment.
