A couple of years ago, I was teaching myself Japanese through workbooks, rosetta stone, and popular culture. Through taking Spanish in the eighth grade, and then moving to Germany (thus switching my language priorities) I pretty much forgot all of it.
I have this summer, plus possible time during the school year, to catch myself up enough that I can continue on my own, while continuing to learn German.
I' m pretty quick with language, and would like to eventually work as a translator of some sort.

I would like to learn German in order to be able to communicate with my colleagues and also integrate faster in the German society.
I am at the Beginners level.
I would like to have private lessons at my place (Essen). I was thinking about 2 hours per week at the afternoun but this will depend also on the price.
I am interested in a fast introduction both in German grammar and vocabulary, starting from the basics and building up so that I will be able to use the language within the following year.
