I can read the cyrillico alphabet and some sentence for first conversation.

My husband and I are expatriates living abroad in a former soviet republic. I have been taking Russian lessons on and off this past year and want to continue when I return to Montreal for the summer. I am learning this foreign language mostly because I am from Russia. I have hosted 2 foreign exchange students, and I am just in awe of the language and would love to be fluent so i can comminucate with my best friends in russian. My proficiency level is beginner. The areas i feel i need improvement are all areas. I would like to dedicate as much time during the summer as I can. I am looking for a teacher i can share past expierences with while learning and having constructive critisim present when necessary and just to have someone to help me with learning the language in a non stressful enviroment
