I want to learn Korean language because I'm familiar with it. I also intent to further my studies in Korea. so, by learning it here in my home country helps me prepare for it. I'm a beginner, familiar with simple everyday informal phrases as I like to watch Korean dramas. I would like to have weekly classes possibly 1-2 hours each session. I want to teach English in Japan and Korea once I graduate from the University of Central Florida. I am getting my TEFL certificate, but I would like to know the language and culture before I move overseas. I only have a little knowledge of the Japanese language and no knowledge of the Korean language. I would like to come weekly for an hour or every two weeks for an hour. I am a very interested in a teacher that knows a lot about both cultures and is not mean.

I've been learning Korean for 2 years by myself. Because I've been learning myself my speaking and listening abilities haven't caught up to my reading abilities. I would like to have a tutor who I have see about once or twice a week for about an hour or two each time.

I received some excellent training in Korean at the Defense Language Institute courtesy of the Air Force. Unfortunately , I have not had the opportunity to study with an instructor since that time and my own self-study efforts have been ineffective. At one time my proficiency would probably have been considered high intermediate, but it has since slipped a good deal. I would like to refresh what I learned and improve my Korean language skills as I hope to spend some time in Korea in the future. I have always been particularly weak in speaking and listening though my reading was fairly strong. I am currently in the process of learning a new job and enrolling for college classes so I do not have a great deal of free time, but this is a skill I do not want to lose entirely and I could devote a few hours a week to language study.
