I am looking for a German teacher who can find me a partner to share costs of taking weekly German levels at B1 level.
I'm a motivated student with a flair for languages, looking for a competent teacher who can easily adapt to our needs as we go along.
I can speak quite fluently at a low level and wish to especially improve vocabulary, learn more verbs and/or complicated structures. I am a kinesthetic learner, ie. I learn by 'doing' and repetition. I like drills and have no issues completing vocab or grammar exercises during a 90 minute class.
I'm able to pay 20 Euros/90 minutes. If you are a teacher and need a 2nd student to make up a team, then please contact me. You would have a dedicated and long time student if I find the 'match' is good. I'm female, in my 30s.

I moved to Munich last May in order to live in the same country as my wife!
I did not study German at school, but have been trying to learn it through books. I had about 10 private lessons in London before I moved to Germany. I need improvement in all areas, although I think I am a quick learner - I studied Latin and Greek and learnt French and a bit of Italian.
Unfortuna tely, my job requires me to work full-time in English, and therefore I have not progressed as quickly as I would have wanted. Also, I find that people in Munich do not generally speak German in such a way that 'foreigners' can easily follow them - ie speaking slowly and clearly and using words which are likely to be understood.
I am currently working for a real-estate-f und in Munich.
I want to try and dedicate one hour a day to learning the language. Initially, I want to learn to speak slowly but correctly.
I would like private lessons because this is the most effective way to learn.
