Hi I am looking for an Arabic tutor for children ages 5-10. I would like them to be taught Modern Standard Arabic as well as colloquial levant arabic. They would need to begin with basic beginner lessons and then move up. As well as be able to teach to different levels as age and ability dictates. I am interested in daily tutoring and may consider providing room and board in exchange for daily lessons. We require a teacher with patience and an ability to be flexible and work with children. Prefer female teacher for girl, nearly 12. Has been taking Arabic from Tunisian tutor for 2-1/2 years. Per tutor about student 'She knows how to read correctly, how to write correctly, how to formulate sentences, conjugate verbs on the past and present tense, how to lalk, she even translated some stories to me.' I lived in Cairo for a year, two years ago and was almost fluent in Egyptian Arabic. Since moving back, I haven't spoken a word of Arabic so I'm not sure what level I would be. I really want to expand on my conversationa l Arabic and maybe receive some help on reading. Ideally, I would dedicate about 3-4 hours a week on lessons.
