He is beginner too, 8 years old, attending 3rd grade of German International School in Manila where English is taught 5 hours the week, but as he attended before the German International School in Brussels (Belgium) he has only very limited knowledge of the language and is lagging far behind his classmates

Trying to learn a new language (Italian is my priority right now) since I don't want to be constrained to speaking/writ ing in English as well as in my native language.
I'm a beginner in the Italian language, although I've browsed some books on it. Learning with someone who speaks it well is ideal of course, and hopefully that somebody would be a pleasant person to interact with.
