Quite simply, I love languages. This is my main reason for learning Arabic, which I began studying a year and a half ago. Although I have studied other languages for over half my life, my pursuits have recently shifted entirely to Arabic. I love to teach, and my goal is ultimately to teach Arabic myself. Unfortunately , certain logistics have resulted in the slowing of my learning. I particularly require more opportunities to converse, in addition to reading and listening activities at and beyond my skill level, which is at the end of the elementary stage. I believe that conversation will solidify my vocabulary, which I require more than anything else. I am looking for a tutor who can provide several hours of personal tutoring a week. Evenings are best.

I am looking for an Arabic tutor for my husband. He learned Arabic in the AirForce (DLI) 4 years ago and wants to pick up his skills again. I think he would like someone to help him with vocabulary (alot of his vocab is military terms) and conversation. The lessons would be a gift. When he was in the Air Force he was best at listening and reading. I do not really know his proficiency level, since I don't understand the language. But I know he can make his way thru some articles in Arabic newspapers online. I want to buy him between 3-6 lessons, to get him started again and see if he wants to continue. Depending on where he had to travel for the lessons, the woudl be about 1-2 hours long. Thanks-
