I am looking for an English course for my mother, who will be travelling to Europe to visit me withing the next year. She speaks Swahili natively, but has very limited knowledge of English. The aim of the course should primarily be to enable her to understand and speak sufficiently well for her to get by on the journey and to communicate with my husband and the family(Englis h) when she arrives here.
With respect to the time she can dedicate I think that 2 hours a day for 5 days a week should be the maximum.
I am looking for a teacher that is patient and skilled in teaching people with no or very little prior knowledge of the language they are about to learn.

I want to learn Portuguese to advance in my career and also because I am interested in Portuguese language and culture. I am a beginner of Portuguese but I am proficient in French and English. Being a beginner I feel I need to work on all aspects of the Portuguese language right from the basics onwards.
