I am needing to learn Bosnian because I am constantly surrounded be Bosnian culture and 90% of my friends are Bosnian. Plus I dance Bonian Folklor. I am a beginner but I do know somethings. I would like to learn to speak Croatian as I am married to a croatian and have wanted to learn for many years but unable to get husband or inlaws to teach me. I am a beginner. I need improvement on conversation and numbers. I would like to dedicate a couple hours a week to lessons. I would like to teacher to be friendly.

I am interested in learning Croatian fluently as my family came from the former Yugoslavia.
I am a beginning; I do know some words and phrases. I need improvement in everything -- beginner!
I would be willing to dedicate time whenever it works best for my teacher. I do work 40 hours a week, but my job is very lax and I could make time for this.
I am simply looking for anyone that knows the Croatian / Serbian language in and out that would be willing to help me.

I was born in Croatia, but immigrated with my family to NYC when I was 4 years old. Therefore, I never learned Croatian grammar in school. I speak Croatian, but not well. I want to gain fluency in my native language. I need to improve grammar and conversation fluency.
Ideally, I'd like to spend several hours a week in language instruction. I am happy to do homework.
The qualities I would hope the teacher possesses are positive energy, warmth, and a fun & dynamic approach to language acquistion.
