I studied French in university, however I've lost touch with the language due to lack of practice. I would like to get my language skills up to a conversationa l standard. I would probably start as a beginner since I've forgotten everything I've learnt. I'm willing to take 1 hour per week for lessons. The qualities that I look in my teacher is someone who is patient, but also challenges me since learning a language is dependent on self motivation.
I also briefly studied Japanese and Mandarin but again due to lack of practice I haven't advanced in my skills.

Hello;
I am interested in learning Korean as one of my hobbies is watching movies/dramas , and listening to music from Korea.
I have never studied this before; except for a few words here and there that I picked up from my own curious searches on the internet, so my level is beginner.
I feel that I would benefit from improvement in all areas; grammar and conversation. I'd like to be able to understand movies/songs without lyrics/subtit les in English. I would also like to be able to construct my own sentences.
I am able to dedicate 1 hour for 3 days a week.
I am looking for a teacher who can make this fun; I am wanting to learn this for my own personal enjoyment...t herefore I do not want to approach this as business only. Asian media is my hobby: I want the learning to be fun too. I want someone who is experienced but that can adapt to my level easily. Someone personable and friendly is a must!! I am very shy, I will not do well with someone intimidating! !
