I am a beginning Mandarin Student (1 month part time after work and 1/week class at a community college). Learning languages is a passion of mine but, unfortunately not a forseeable factor for career advancement in my field. Proper pronunciation is very important to me so I am looking for 1-2 hours of tutoring per week so I get off to a good start. Learning the characters is secondary to me now since I wish to become proficient orally before worrying about transitioning from Pinyin to formal script.

I am looking for a small class to continue learning Mandarin. I studied for one year many years ago but would like to begin again and learn properly.
