Hello,
I am looking to learn Brazilian Portugese in Montreal. I am fluent in French and English but have no knowledge of the Portugese language. I plan to visit Brazil in a few months, and want to be able to hold a conversation. I am a fast learner, and would like to learn between 2-4 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. The most important thing for me to learn is conversation.

I wish to learn portuguese because I will be conducting an internship in brazil starting in march 2006. I can read portugese because I know french, spanish and have a base in italian. However, do not speak portuguese nor I have I studied it before. I am interested in focusing on communication skills rather than grammar. My goal would be to understand portuguese and speak it reasonably well by March 2006. I am willing to dedicate the amount of hours necessary to achieve that objective. Therefore, I am looking for a teacher willing to engage in that challenge with me.

I am a beginner student wishing to indulge in the languge of Poruguse. I spent 7 weeks in Brazil and became in love with the language. I plan on returning to Brazil in the future and would like to know the language before i return to make my experience more culturally defined.
