I have two sons, age 15 and 11, who are native English speakers living in the United States. They speak very little Chinese at present.
W e will be visiting Singapore for two and a half weeks Jul 29 - Aug 13, 2005. I will be giving lectures at the National University of Singapore. I would like to arrange for a private tutor to spend some time (2-4 hours/day) with my sons teaching them Chinese (mandarin).
I am hoping it will be a fun experience all around -- my sons are fun and well behaved. The instruction does not need to be too formal, it can even involve touring the city or other activities (e.g., they enjoy playing badminton and ping pong also) while teaching. But it would be nice if they learned the basics of the pinyin system of pronounciatio n.

I am the beginner to learn the French and i am a Chinese and come from China. Currently i am working in Singapore and I would like to take French lesson here. The purpose to learn French is to connect with more people since i am willing to walk around the world in future. Hopefully!! Life is so short, don't age regret the things you never do.

I travel to Bangkok every six weeks, and stay in Bangkok for a week each time. I am currently self learning through books and can read basic words. In terms of speaking I can can get around Thailand alright. I would like to deepen my knowledge of the Thai language, and get a good accent and proper grammar. My next trip up to Bangkok will be on the last week of July 2005.
