I wish to learn Korean mainly just for recreation as me and a small group of friends plan to travel to Korea at the end of year 12 for vacation.
I'm a beginner and all I have learnt is a few words and phrases from Dramas and Songs
I have hangeul keyboard stickers handy on my laptop
I know most of the Korean alphabet and can type things such as

I would like to spend around 2-3 hours each week with a teacher learning Korean
If accepted, I want the teacher to know that I am also applying for 2-4 other students (my friends)
I wish that the teacher has experience and will be able to match our level easily

I am a Chinese from Malaysia. I have never learned any foreign language apart from local compulsory language such as English, Chinese and Malay language. As such it is always my main interest to expand my knowledge in other foreign language.
I am interested to learn Korean Language as I find the language very beautiful and fascinating. I feel that to learn another language, it doesn't necessary means it has to be for career advancement purposes, as in my case I would like to learn it as my own interest.
Since I never learned it before, I am considered as totally new to the language apart from basic words which my ex-colleague from Korea taught me last time.
I hope to learn in conversation, reading and writing. I understand it will be hard for me since I never learnt it before but I am a fast learner and I will try my very best to learn it as fast as I can. Since I am a working adult, I can only attend class at non office hours at least once a week depending on teacher's schedule.
I am looking forward for a class where there is interaction between teacher and student and a teacher who can teach me the right way in conversation, writing and reading.
