I am American, but half Vietnamese. I left Vietnam at an early age and forgot the language almost completely. I wish to learn again so I can communicate with my family there. I would like to learn to both read and write Vietnamese to a level where I can speak proficiently with friends and relatives. I think once a week should be okay. My teacher should be patient and be able to be direct me in English. Eventually I would like our lessons to be conducted in complete Vietnamese.

I took my O Levels in 2006 and scored a pretty decent mark of B3. However, I've lost touch in Mandarin since I've been studying in Australia in 2007.
I'll like to practise my Mandarin and be able to speak smoothly. Also, I'll like to know more about the history of the language rather than just knowing how to speak it.
I have holidays for 3 months. The teacher has to have a flexible schedule because I cannot anticipate the activities I'm going to do. Also, I need the teacher to be interesting, patient and creative in his/her strategy in teaching.

I 'm learning this language because I have hang out with people who speak italian often and for my own career advancement purposes in future.
Gr ammar and conversationa l italian would be the areas i need to be coached.
I hope to have a short term intensive italian language course during my holidays now.
The teacher has to be patient, organized and clear in pronunciation . Its good if he or she can help me learn it in a fun manner by making connections to my current knowledge of things.
