I wish to learn Dari/Farsi mainly for personal interest, and for potential travel reasons. I am also studying linguistics in College, so I am a pretty good learner. I wish to learn Punjabi for career advancement as well as for social purposes. I grew up in an Urdu speaking household and understand Urdu as well as hindi but am not truly comfortable speaking those languages as I have an accent and I find it a challenge to converse freely as I think in English. I would like to focus on conversationa l Punjabi. I am looking to spend about one hour per week as I have a busy career. I am looking for a teacher who is goal oriented, patient and motivated to help me achieve my goals.
