I'm a beginner in learning Japanese. I am doing the Rosetta stone learning process but would also like someone in person to teach me. I want to learn Japanese because I like their culture and would like to someday visit Japan. I think that if you go to a different country you should be able to speak enough of their language to communicate with the people there. I'm willing to give as much time as the teacher would be willing to. I also would like to be able to read Japanese too.

i'm learning japanese to give myself the advantage of me in the future..and its part for fun.i'm now in the middle of level 5..well i'm working right now and i'm looking for a teacher who could do the class within the inconsistant time...(watas hi to tomodachi desu)normally we will inform and discuss if we want to cancel the class or do the appointment.. and rite now we having a private lessons and now we are trying to have a new sensei.

I have no experience in any other language than English and Mandarin - although, I haven't used mandarin in a while, so it can be quite awkward for me.
I intend to learn Japanese in the hope of eventually working in the country or at least doing some translation work casually. I have also realised I am terrible in learning grammar and pronounciatio n on my own, which is why I need a face to face session with tutors.
I currently work and study as an assistant nurse, I can dedicate about 10 hours a week of personal study towards language studies.
I can be a very shy and awkward student, so I need a teacher that is patient and understanding . due to my living circumstances , I would prefer to visit the tutor at his/her home.
