My name is Cristobal Alvarado, I am a PhD student in Ulm, I have been living in Germany for 2 years and my German still in a middle level. My goal is to improve and be fluent soon.

I am studying this year in the FU Berlin, I study Political Science and I would really like to take classes in German next semester. So thats basically getting from an A1 level to a as high as I can go.
I have had some German training in my home university, but I know it is not enough for my to successfully communicate with other people in German.
I glided through school in the US so I really need to work on my grammer and sentence structure, I also really need to commit to memorizing vocabulary. In general though learning a language is learning a language, I want to absorb as much as I can.
This year is all about learning German, thats is why I am here, I am a student at the Uni so of course I do not have massive amounts of time, but I am willing to work extra for this.
I need a teacher who is light hearted because I do not like the type of teacher who makes you feel stupid, especially when learning language you are bound to feel a bit silly. I also need someone who hold me accountable, as in does not let me get away with slacking, though as I am supposedly an adult now, I try to not slack off.
