I wish to go on a holiday to the Philippines and want to get to an advanced level of language so I can one day become a translator.
I have no knowledge of the language. I may need to improve on my pronounsiatio n and conversationa l skills. Willing to put in atleast 5 hours daily.

Hello everyone! I'm learning Chinese because it's required in our school. I don't know what my level is, but I'm currently in second year high school, and I've been taking Chinese classes ever since I was in grade 1. To be honest, I need improvement in all of the areas of my Chinese academics because I was never good in using the Chinese language. Until now, I still don't know how to write some basic Chinese words, and my intonation is not good. I'm willing to dedicate an hour, three times a week (specifically Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) for my Chinese tutorial. I would like a female Chinese tutor because my mom said I can't have a male tutor (I'm not being offensive). I need someone to explain my Chinese lessons in school, make tests for me, and do other things that usually happen in a Chinese tutorial. Thank you!

I have no formal training in Tagalog. The bit that I know comes from self-learning by CDs and interacting with family and friends. I grew up in the East Coast of the U.S. and was not taught Tagalog to make an easier transition into the U.S. culture.
