My husband and I have purchased a farmhouse in the Algarve and eventually would like to live there. We would both like to learn how to speak Portuguese as we believe if you are going to live in a foreign country you should speak the language.
We are both complete beginners.

I am very excited to learn Brazilian Portuguese. I learned to surf in Bahia in November and want to return to Brazil for travel and also for work, and I am determined to speak to the wonderful people of that country. I know rudimentary traveler's Portuguese. I learned a fair bit of French in my youth, so learning another language is not impossible for me! I am planning to return to Brazil again in October so I would like to discuss a program that would both accomodate my busy schedule, my budget and my willingness to learn!
I am hoping I can find a patient, intuitive teacher who is very organised and has a good structure to her/his classes. I also have a friend who is interested in taking lessons, who is at the same level as I am
