Beginner student.
My first purpose of learning Portuguese is that I love Brazilian music, and have listened for more than 10 years, I have been always interested in learning the language,so I understand the lyrics.
I would like to have a class at least once a week.
I prefer Brazilian teacher to Portuguese teacher since the above reasons, but I would be happy as long as the teacher is a native speaker.

Hello, I wish to learn Portugese in order to travel to Brazil in about 5-6 months time. I have a working knowledge of Spanish, and I wish to gain a working language of Portugese as well. I would be most interested in learning Portugese in a group setting (4-8 people) if possible or individual lessons.

Jeff is a beginner student of Portuguese. Jeff is thinking possibly of going to Brazil and teaching English or attending as an Exchange student in Brazil in the future. He is currently 17 and will be 18 years in October.
All areas need help.
Would one night a week be acceptable?
He would like to receive acknowedge of completion, a certificate of successfully attending and achievement of a specific level for educational purposes.
He visited Brazil for Spring break in April 08 and we have hosted 3 students in our home from Brazil during the past 3 years. We just had our 4th student arrive today and he will be living with us for the semester taking his grade 11 and learning english.
