I am continuing to learn Russian after living in Kazakhstan for a year. I am mostly interested in improving my conversationa l skills due to my interest in the language. I am an intermediate, conversationa l speaker but need a lot of help with grammar because I have only learned by listening and speaking with native speakers. I would like to dedicate 2-3 hrs. of tutoring per week. I am looking for a kind, patient teacher who can help me develop my conversationa l skills.

My level is a beginner.
I am learning this language because I have always been interested and wanted to learn it as an extra language.
I want to dedicate at least a lesson per week.
The qualities I am looking for in my lesson would be to be able to communicate and understand in a short time as possible. However there is no rush. The qualities that I am looking for in my teacher is that he/she is patient, nice/welcomin g and does not rush in what I am learning so I don't forget anything. Also, I hope he/she has a flexible time.

I studied Russian before I moved to China but my abilities are growing stagnant without practice. I'm trying to learn Chinese while I'm here but I don't want my Russian to get washed out it's one of my favorite languages.
My most troublesome areas are grammar, my pronunciation is good but grammar, in any language, has always been difficult. I want to become conversationa l. 1-2 hour lessons during the week would be nice. No formal classroom needed. Meeting for coffee or lunch after 5 is fine.

5. Really need someone who can encourage me to talk and suggest good readigs - not too advanced, but not too basic either. I've studied Russian years ago and have done some refreashing lately and figured I can move fast but will still need to wrap up basics.
I am not a big fun of traditional textbook teaching, but still like to have a book or something to rely on.
