Dear sir/madam,
I work in West Africa, and deal with natives daily. I have managed to teach myself Portuguese to a level where I can get my way around and have questions answered.
I need to become 100% comforable with the language and to firstly be efficient in conversationa l Portuguese. I am sure that grammer and writing will follow once you can speak well.
I visit South Africa and 'home' every 30 days, and will then have at least one hour per day available for training/clas ses.
I sincerely hope that there is someone that will be able to assist me fulfill this desire of mine in becoming efficient in Portuguese.

To Whom it may concern:
I have lived in Brazil for two months and have enjoyed learning the language. I will be here for one more month and then I will return to Canada. I have made some very good friends and would like to keep in touch by communicating in Portuguese.
I am willing to spend the neccessary time needed to learn Portuguese fluently. I have been teaching myself for the last two months and have interacted with the locals. I feel I am at a beginner to intermediate level.
