Hi, I am a Kenyan female who would like to learn portugues within the shortest time possible. I no nothing in portugues and I need to learn since am looking forward to a career advancement which requires me to communicate in continental portugues. My tutor should be good in it and should be dedicated to my learning just as much as I do very interesting person and willing to go an extra mile. There is no one or any institutions of learning in Kenya which could assist me in doing this. Please somebody help me!!!!

I will be spending 2-3 months in Sao Paulo beginning in March and would like to learn portuguese during my stay. I am starting with no knowledge of portuguese and want to spend 2-4 hours each day studying the language. My goal is to be relatively proficient in speaking and reading portuguese in order to communicate effectively with my new friends in Sao Paulo and Brazillian friends in Miami. I need a teacher who can emphasize a conversationa l approach and push me to learn quickly and efficiently.

I am a beginning Portuguese speaker. I have a lot of friends from Brazil and I learn from them as well as from books. I would like to take serious classes/lesso ns now. My husband and I would like to travel to Brazil within the next year or two and stay there for a few months. I have lots of free time to dedicate to learning Portuguese. I would prefer a teacher who is a native Brazilian but it is not required. I would prefer lessons is person but I am willing to check out other options (via telephone/int ernet).
