I shall be visiting Japan at Easter 2005, to attend my son's wedding. I wish to learn some basic Japanese, so that I can converse with my new daughter-in-l aw's family. I am a complete beginner, although I have visited Japan previously when I was able to pick up a few words.
I would prefer to attend classes in Dorset, (preferably in Bournemouth or Poole ), although I am not adverse to personal study by some other method.

I am at beginner level in Italian language I want to learn because my family is Italian. I need to improve in grammar and convesation. I would like to dedicate 2 to 3 hours per week. Gujarati is spoken on my mother's side of the family but because my father is English, she spoke to us in English when we were growing up. I started to take an interest in learning Gujarati about 10 years ago when I felt a real need to learn it and as a result I have taken lessons. However those lessons didn't go further than beginner's stage and I would like to really make some advancement with my gujarati, especially my spoken gujarati.
Preferabl y, I would like to have one class a week and I would very much appreciate a teacher who has an organised and methodical approach to language teaching.
