I have been studying Chinese for three years. My level of proficiency is between beginner and intermediate but mostly beginner. I would like to further my study of Mandarin so that one day I might be able to use it in sync with my career plans. I would like to dedicate at least one hour per week to begin with and then possibly dedicate more time as I progress. I am looking for a teacher that is kind, patient, and has a perfect understanding of the Mandarin language so that I will eventually too. I particularly need help in writing and reading as well as more practice speaking.

I am a beginner, but have used several CD's and other learning tools in Russian so far. My wife is Ukrainian, and I also practice with her. I want to become more proficient in conversation first, than in grammar and writing. I can only take classes in the evenings or weekends.

I am a total beginner - but am interested in learning Polish - I have found long lost family in Poland - and my family is very very large - they do not speak English - I do not speak Polish - I am interested in communiating with them and hopefully visiting next year - I am interested in having correspondenc e translated to them, sending video emails and learning basic conversation that is family oriented.
