Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am am adult (New Orleans) who would be interested in having a tutor assist me in learning basic Russian. I have some knowledge (1-yr. High School Russian) I aquired many years ago, but need to start learning the basics again.
I have always been interested in the Russian language and would like to learn it as a personal goal. I have recently attempted to self-teach with tapes, books, DVDs, etc. but realize that I may need a teacher to converse with. I would be interested in lessons maybe 2 - 4 times a month, but this is just a suggestion. Thank you.

I will be a beginner - I wish to be able to converse with new friends who live in Ukraine. I would like to be at least minimally competent by april when I make my first trip there. Well.. I tried to teach myself, and I probably screwed everything up with someone teaching me. So I have these books, but I need someone to TEACH me, not just read it. After all, Oral is how you learn, right?! :|
I can dedicate every hour after 4 to learning, and then until 10pm. :)
I dont care what qualities, but I prefer female.
