I am looking for either a classroom setting, or private language lessons in Russian, I have considered using the Living Language series to try and self-teach, but feel that attempting to self-teach a language may not be the best way to learn the language properly, and I feel that a normal class or perhaps private lessons would better help me to learn a second language. I am willing to dedicate up to 2 hours a day, 2-3 days a week to learning the language, plus self-practice which I would perform at home. I would like to find a language teacher who is patient, and who has an excellent command of the language and someone that can make the language both fun and enjoyable at the same time. I have had no formal training in any of the languages I would like to learn, and I cannot find a class in my area. My skill level will be absolute beginner. My goal is to obtain fluency in both the spoken and written language. I learn quickly and work very hard.

I am a semi-proficie nt speaker of the Russian language. I studied it in college, and spent a year in Southern Russia learning the language. However, I have forgotten a lot of the language and have learned more about slang language than proper grammar. I am looking to restore my passion in learning the language. I work in the health care sector and am getting my Master's in public policy at night. My interest to learn the language is self-improvem ent.

I am learning my foreign language because it is the native language of my parents and my relatives, and I would like to be able to communicate with them better.
My proficiency level would be in between beginner and intermediate. I speak and understand Russian properly, however I need improvement in being able to speak using more complex words, and writing and reading.
I would dedicate as much time as needed for me to learn Russian well.
I am looking for a teacher that would be patient with me, and would keep going over the material with me if I need to do so. I have an accent when speaking Russian, therefore it would be harder for me to pronounce words properly.
