I have just married a Hungarian man whose family all speak Hungarian. He grew up in Australian. It both parents are Native Hungarians. We would like to go live in Hungary at some point. So learning is for the following reasons: 1) follow my interest to learn another language 2) integrate into his family and use that opportunity to learn a language 3) future travel.
