I'm looking for an afrikaans teacher as I am marrying a South African and would love to be able to speak his native language fluently. I can understand little bits and pieces but would love to be able to deliver a proper conversation. I am very dedicated to working towards my goal of learning this second language. I would need a teacher that is patient and that applies a lot of practical learning.

I would like to learn afrikaans to be able to speak with my south african partner and friends. I have no knowledge of the language so would be starting as a beginner.
The best approach for me would be perhaps two lessons in person per week with homework lessons that I am able to do myself to enable me to progress as quickly as possible.
I don't mind learning in a group.
