Hi, my name is Sachin Desai. Thank you for your interest. I am an American citizen currently living and working in Hsinchu, Taiwan. I have studied Chinese previously and am looking for an intermediate level Chinese tutor for 1 on 1 tutoring, or small classes of 3 students or less. I am looking to study for at least six hours a week (in 2 hour sessions), and am available any time after 6:00 PM during the work week and on weekend afternoons/ni ghttimes (preferably only 1 lesson during the weekend). I will live in Hsinchu for approximately ten months, and initially plan to study for at least 3-4 months. I live by ²MµØ¤j¾Ç. I can study in my apartment or can meet anywhere in that general area.
This past summer I studied Mandarin in an intensive language program (9 weeks). Since I have had basic lessons, I do not need a tutor with a very high level of experience in teaching. However, they should have had prior experience teaching Chinese to intermediate level students. I prefer to focus on grammar and pronunciation during these sessions, as I tend study vocabulary on my own. I look forward to starting as soon as possible. Thank you very much! ÁÂÁ±z!

My proficiency level in chinese is poor. I´ve never studied chinese before, all I know I´ve learned from books by myself. i can only write few characters and speak few sentences. I can recognize all the bo po mo fo symbols. I want to learn chinese for several reasons: I love learning languages, for futures research in compared linguistics, for everyday use. I want to take classes twice a week, maybe a group class. The other students might have even less knowlodge of the language and their mother language is german. For the group class the teacher must be able to give a receipt. Classes shouldn´t start before november 2006. Please I searching a professional, not a language exchange.
