I am a beginner in the language of Tamil. I would like to learn for multiple reasons. The first reason is that my husbands family speaks Tamil and I would love to be able to communicate with them. The second reason is because we plan to move to Tamil Nadu within 2 years and I need to learn the language for work. I will dedicate many hours everyday if need be to learn the language. There is no place to learn the language here.

I do not know any Tamil, but would like to learn some basics before I leave for Southern India in June. I would like to have lessons about once a week, maybe 2-3 hours per session. I would like a teacher who is fluent in both English and Tamil and who is patient and has some previous teaching experience.

I currently have no basic knowledge of the Tamil language. I currently only know how to speak english and would like to eventually become fluent in Tamil. I would like to learn Tamil for career advancement and to be able to work globally. I am willing to spend a few hours a week or more in the effort to learn tamil. I am looking for a teacher who is patient but willing to push me to learn the language properly.
