I am wanting to learn Arabic (Starting with Egyptian (Cairo) Arabic) in order to further pursue the Middle Eastern Arts that I teach. I teach Arabic dances, I am a henna artist, and I play the doumbec and sagat. I also do Bedouin style weaving. I have learned some Arabic through Pimsleur Egyptian Arabic CDs and Egyptian Vocabulary Clinic on the computer. I also have several books on Arabic although most are for Modern Standard Arabic. I would like to build my vocabulary and learn to translate the songs I dance to, such as Hakim's songs. How much time I can dedicate depends on the method of delivery and the cost. I can work on homework in the evenings after my 3 year old is in bed, but only 1 hour a week with an instructor at this time.

I've been studying the romanian language for almost 3 years now, and have a very good grasp on the language, especially when reading.. Most of my learning has come from proper sources, like textbooks and newspapers. My knowledge of grammar far exceeds my ability to speak or understand regular Romanian speech. Am nevoie de sa vorbesc si ascult romaneste mai des. Puteti sa-ma ajutati? Nu sunt 'beginner', dar nici nu sunt 'expert'. I am learning Spanish as part of the 12 required credit hours to graduate from Penn State for my BA degree.
I would say that I am a beginner.
I would like additional instruction in grammar and conversation to supplement my online teaching which I do not think is effective.
I will dedicate how much time it takes to learn.
I want a teacher who is hands on and can teach me in person the grammatical areas as well as conversation areas.
