I am a Malayali by birth who never learned Malayalam, much to my regret, so would like to at least be able to converse at a basic level. I know words and can understand bits and pieces, but cannot string sentences together. I would like to take lessons once or twice a week for an hour, but it has to be near my office (Dhobi Ghaut) because of my busy work schedule.

I'm born in Germany and I speak German, English and French.
My parents are originally from Kerala so their mother tongue is Malayalam. But unfortunately it's not my mother tongue and since we didn't speak much Malayalam at home, my knowledge is very basic. I would like to change that now and take lessons in Malayalam to improve my knowledge. I don't know for example how to read but actually my main goal at the moment would be to have fluent conversations with my relatives.
I would like to take around 2h per week - in the evening or weekends.

I want to learn Malayalam because it is my mother tongue as I am a first generation American. I can somewhat understand bits and pieces of Malayalam from what my family speaks around me, but I cannot speak Malayalam. I need improvement learning how to speak the language fluently.
