I have been offered a job in Czech Republic and am aiming to move there once I have sold my house.
I started a Teach Yourself Czech course about 8 weeks ago and feel that I am progressing reasonable well but would still consider myself to be a beginner. However there are areas where I need help, for example -
1- I need to practice having conversations using the words, phrases and rules that I am learning.
2- I need someone that I can talk to about the language rules that I have difficulty with (eg correct word order and correct form of nouns / adjectives).
I will be spending about 10-15 hours per week on learning the language and I would hope to be able to take one lesson per week in addition to this, although this may depend on cost.
I live about 30 miles from Glasgow, but I work in Glasgow so would be available for evening lessons in the city after work.
I am looking for a teacher who will be able to help my understanding of what I am currently learning and give me the opportunity to practice what I am learning. However I would also consider a teacher / tutor who has their own preferred course material.

I am a beginner wanting to learn Turkish. I want to learn Turkish as I spend a lot of time in Turkey on holiday and visiting Turkish friends. They speak English but their families dont always. I would like to be able to have a conversation with the people who invite me to their homes as I feel rude just smiling and nodding and saying thank you. Also there is a possibility that I may move to Turkey next year to teach English as a Foreign Language. If that happens it is essential I can communicate. I can dedicate one evening a week for lessons and have other evenings and weekends available for any homework. I am looking for someone who makes learning fun and makes me feel comfortable so I can practice my language confidently.

Dear Sir / Madam, I have been visiting Turkey for the last 6 years and normally before i go i normally study up on various phrases / words etc to use during the holidays. We have met many Turkish friends
I am basically at beginner level but would like to understand a little basic grammar on how sentences are put together etc but focus mainly on conversationa l Turkish.
I realise that fluent Turkish is not on the horizon at the moment but we will again be visiting next year and I would very much like to be in the position to contribute more to the conversation rather than rely on one person translating for the full family.
Th e time spent may be anything from 1 - 2 hrs per week with tests etc, in person (probably initially)the n later if appropriate, by e-mail or other means etc.
Quali ties from the lessons:- fair to good grounding in basic conversation.

Hello,
I'm would like to find someone in my area who could help me with learning Norwegian. I live in an area where there were many Norwegians stationed here during the war and many stayed on and settled down. I know some basic Norwegian but need help with the grammar,pronu nciation and conversation.
I'm a mature woman and my daughter who is in her early thirties would also like to learn the language with me.
We want to learn this language mostly for personal reasons as I have relatives who live in Norway and we are planning to visit them often. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
