I would like to learn Urdu for several reasons:
1) my father and his family are from Pakistan
2) to become better familiarized with South Asian culture
3) for career advancement
Before moving to Washington, DC in 2009, I had been taking private lessons in Seattle for about 5 months; using the 'Let's Study Urdu' textbook by Ali S. Asani and Syed Akbar.
I would eventually like to have a fluent and academic understanding of Urdu.

I do not know urdu at all and i plan on going everyday to class i am very dedicate to learn urdu. I do not know whatto expect in these classes but i do know i will try my best. - I work with a lot of people who speaks the language
- proficiency level = zero
- conversation is the most important for me now. Also combining a decent grammatically correct sentience will be nice.
- I'm free after 5 pm most of the time.
- I learn the language as fast as possible in and my level will be between 70-85% perfect. I am willing to take more than one level and more than one language. I prefer my teacher will be available for me 'in person' and to be honest and dedicated.
