I want to learn Japanese, because it is an interesting language. Im interesting in Japanese culture and hopefully im going to Tokyo next year for study abroad. Im a beginner level, although I know hiragana and katakana and some Kanji letters. I know some greetings and the basic stuff. I need improvement in all the areas, mostly conversation cause there's not that many japanese speakers here in south florida to practice with. I would like to start learning this summer. Im looking for a native japanese teacher or someone that knows the language perfectly.

I'll keep it short and fast.
I want to learn Japanese because the culture interests me most. I have plans on going down the career path of an anthropologis t. I also have plans to go for Japan-Canada student exchange programs when I reach the acceptable age. My father has lived/worked in Japan and he also encourages/wi shes for me to learn this language.
So far, I know almost nothing. Save for Lvl 1 in Rosetta Stone and a few E-books here and there.

90% of my customers are Japanese, so as to provide them with better service i think to upgrade and learn Japanese is a need. However, I am in Indonesia currently but will be off and on going back to my hometown once in a mth or 2 mths. I need a teacher that knows how to teach me abt Japanese Business culture , term using in metal stamping industry and so on. My japanese level would be intermediate. I would like to focus more on conversation of course.

I want to to learn a foreign language because i think it would be interresting and because I think it would help me in my career I want to pursue. I am a beginner for both Mandarin and Japanese, I have never studied it before. I would like to dedicate about 3-5 hours a week on the language with a teacher.
